a crazy trip -_-

before two weeks, my friend and I went to Washington, DC for only two nights. we went there by his car, Mustang. the trip started at 2:30 pm after the class. we were tired but we needed to go because my friend wanted to meet his friends whom is studying in Idaho state and the other one is studying in Washington and I wanted to see my cousin. we took six hours to reach there. we arrived at 8:30 pm. I met my friend's friends. then we started hanging out till 3 am. I was really really really tired. we went to somebody's house and we slept. we woke up at 10:30 am and I didn't sleep well, but that didn't affect me. that day I met my cousin. he just came to the US before one month from now. he was happy when I met him. my cousin, my friend and his friends, and I stayed together till 2 am. then we went back to that house to sleep at 3 am. at morning, my friend and I went to Richmond, Virginia to see our friend who was here in Athens, but he transferred. we took one hour to reach there. we spent three hours with our friend and we had lunch together. then we came back to Athens after this long and crazy trip. my friend was tired, but I wasn't so tired. I was thinking about my homework and my friend was thinking about his chemistry exam. we arrived Athens at midnight. I finished my homework at 2 am. my friend studied well and he got a good grade in his exam, so we are happy at the end.

privacy on social-networks

I don't worry about my privacy information on social-networks. I always use Facebook. I don't worry because I don't put important information. I just put my name and the date of birth. also I put my location, my school's name, and my home town. I think this information is not important because nobody is going to use it, so I don't need to be worried. I just choose the information that is not important. some information must be hidden just like the email or phone number because some body might hack the email, or some body might put the person who has the number in trouble.


I think my parents don't know the Facebook so they cannot advise me about something related to it. however, a friend advised me to not put any personal information even the birth of date on Facebook because it is dangerous. I don't know why he told me that because I disagree with him. there are some personal information can be put just like the birth of date but without the year. I think the year of birth should be hidden. this is my opinion in privacy information on social-networks. my opinion might be right, or wrong.

The United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is where I am from. few people know this country, but the rest of them know Dubai. a lot of people don't know where is Dubai and they think it is a country. it is not a country. it is just a city in the UAE. the UAE has seven states called emirates in Arabic. the seven emirates are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Om Alqaiwain, Ras Alkhaimah, and Fujairah. the capital is Abu Dhabi and it is becoming famous now. Dubai what most of people know. the UAE is a small country, its area size is 84000 square kilometre. it located in the middle east on the southern west part of Asia. my country has been developing very fast and this photo is the proof.

Social Network I Use

the social network I always use is facebook because I think it is the best to communicate. facebook helps me to contact with some members of my family and some of my friends. it was made to share everything like photos, videos, ideas and many many things. people always share their photos so everybody can see it and comment on it. people can share what are in their mind so everybody could see it or people can share what are they doing now or what they will do next.also there are a lot of games on facebook and those games depend on making friends and doing some things repeatedly everyday. many people meet in these games and then be friends so these games help to make friends. facebook has many advantages just like sharing photos or videos. also it helps to keep contacting with friends or family. wherever people are in they can contact and share whatever they want easily with everybody. I think facebook doesn't have any disadvantages and it is the best social network in the world.

My Best Trip Ever

in my life, I have been to a lot of trips, but my best trip was when I went to Florida. when there were two weeks to the winter quarter to be finished. two of my friends and I planned to spend our vacation in Florida. before the day we went there, our friend told us that he would come with us. he could not find a ticket in the same flight but we met in the hotel in Florida where our trip has started. when we arrived, we rented a car and went to play the most dangerous game I have ever seen. I was afraid before I played it; however, I didn't get scared while playing it. I was excited to play whole the dangerous games in Florida and that what I have done. we have been to a lot of amusement parks and I have tried almost all of the roller coasters. now, I feel those games are boring and I think will not play them at all. we also have been to many beautiful beaches and they were really beautiful. I have been to three cities in Florida State which are Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. Orlando was the city I really liked and feel relaxed and comfortable. we spent eleven days there and drove three thousand miles by car. then we went back to Athens to start taking classes of spring quarter.

Why I Learn English?

Many people learn English for different reasons. for me, I learn English because I am studying in the United States which everything is in English, so I must learn English. Also it is a goal to me to know two languages or more. If I know other languages, I would contact with more people and would have more friends. In addition, anyone who wants to work in the United Arab Emirates, English is the first condition to get a job. people who do not know English are finding problems to get a job or to study in a university. when I graduate, my language will be better and I will find a good job easily. to improve my English outside the class, I always talk with my neighbours in the dormitory so I get experienced from what native speakers say. also my friends and I try to speak in English as possible as we can. English is a great language and it is not so complicated.

World Cup 2010

World Cup 2010 of soccer was one of the best world cups. There were many events and surprises in this world cup. The biggest surprise was that the last winner, Italy, didn't win in any match in this world cup and was beaten by weak teams. Also many strong national teams didn't qualify from the first round like France. Many teams were strong before the world cup, but their performance were really bad and they got out from the first round and some others from the second round. The biggest surprise was Uruguay. Experts predicted that Uruguay would not qualify to the semi final, however; Uruguay qualified to the semi final. They played a really good games in the world cup and they arrived to there worthily. The candidate to win the championship was Brazil, but they was gotten out by Netherlands whom lost the final against Spain. That was the third final that Netherlands have lost in the history. However, This was the first final that Spain played and they won in a dramatical match. Spain scored a goal in the second extra term which there were four minutes to play on penalties.
